Both flagships are sleek and light weighted but Microsoft Surface is comparatively heavier than the Transformer Pad Infinity, it is 676 grams in weight while the Pad Infinity weighs 594 grams only.

Asus Transformer Pad Infinity is designed with 10.1 inches IPS-LCD with full HD resolution of 1920×1200 pixels while the Surface is slightly larger- it has 10.6 inch Clear Type HD Display with 1,280×720-pixel HD resolution.
Processors
Microsoft Surface is said to be powered by NVIDIA Tegra-based ARM chip while the quad-core 1.6GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor is placed inside the Transformer Pad Infinity to keep the device running.
RAM/Storage
Microsoft Surface comes with configurable options of 32 GB, 64 GB internal memory while there is no information on its RAM. The Transformer Pad Infinity boasts 1GB DDR3 RAM and internal memory which can be added up to 64GB.
OS
Transformer Pad Infinity runs Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich while Microsoft Surface is powered by Windows 8 version for ARM devices—the Windows RT.
Cameras
Transformer Pad Infinity has dual cameras including 8-megapixel camera at the back and 2.2 megapixels camera at the front while the Surface is said to feature a pair of HD shooters.
Battery
Microsoft Surface wins in this feature, it is claimed to live up to 31.5 W-h on the other hand Transformer Pad Infinity will lasts up to 25Whr after charging.
Price
The Microsoft Surface is expected to come with around $500 price tag while Transformer Pad Infinity will range in $499-$599 price bracket.
