Galaxy Note 10.1 vs Transformer Pad Infinity vs New iPad

Samsung Galaxy Note gains huge popularity as it is a great combo of smartphone and tablet, now a new device with “Note” name tag is here but it is not a smartphone or hybrid,but a tablet. Galaxy Note 10.1 is welcomed to the competition by some powerful flagships from renowned manufacturers– Apple’s New iPad and Asus Transformer Pad Infinity are only two tablets that won’t allow the new lad stand in front of them. Weight

Apple New iPad is the bulkiest among its contenders, it weighs 662 grams, Samsung Galaxy Note is 600 grams in weight while Asus Transformer Pad Infinity is the lightest of the three, it has 598 grams body.

Display

Galaxy Note 10.1 and Asus Transformer Pad Infinity have same display size of 10.1 inches but they differ in resolution, Note 10.1 has a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels whereas Pad Infinity boasts 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution. Apple New iPad has a slightly small 9.7 inches display and 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution.

Processor

New iPad was launched with 1 GHz dual core Apple A5 processor although people were expecting a bunch of four cores for it. Anyways the rest of the two devices are powered by quadcore processors, Note 10.1 is set to run by 1.4 GHz quad core Exynos 4412 processors whereas quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 T33 processors clocking at 1.6 GHz hums inside the Transformer Pad Infinity.

Operating System

New iPad was shipped with iOS 5.1 which is upgradeable to the new version, the remaining two slates run Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean has also arrived but there is no word on when these devices will savor its goodness officially.

Memory/Storage

Pad Infinity and New iPad sports 1 GB RAM each, the former comes in 32/64 GB storage option expandable via microSd card while you can choose your New iPad from 16/32/64 GB variants but it doesn’t support microSD card. Galaxy Note stands out with its 2GB RAM and 16/32/64 GB storage capacity that can be added with microSD card.

Camera

Galaxy Note 10.1 features 5 MP rear shooter capable of 720p video recording and 1.9 MP front facing camera, New iPad has 5MP camera at the back that can record 1080p video and VGA front camera whereas Transformer Pad Infinity has a powerful main camera of 8MP for 1080p video and 2 MP secondary camera.

Battery

New iPad is designed with 11,560 mAh battery that offers 42.5 Wh, Transformer Pad Infinity gives 25Wh while Note 10.1 comes with a 7000mAh battery although we don’t know how much battery life it offers.
