Tizen-based devices to arrive in second half of 2012
The new Tizen OS has become the center of attraction for many manufacturers. The open source OS is supported by Samsung and Intel and is based on MeeGo and LiMo divisions. It is also supported by top-notch carrier Sprint and manufacturers like Panasonic and NEC. Now rumor has it Samsung and HTC will be releasing their Tizen powered smartphones in the second half of the year.

Other mammoths like Acer and Asus are reportedly working on the Tizen driven notebooks for emerging markets. Monsters like Android, iOS, Windows Phone that are occupying the leading positions in OS arena will give this new lad a tough time to survive.
