Sprint officially said “No” to WiMax devices
Sprint has divorced the WiMax enabled phones officially, well we have already heard about it, as we are a keen follower of Sprint, but it is confirmed now. The information is out by the Sprint senior networks VP Bob Azzi who stated that Sprint will no longer invest time and money in any WiMax enabled phones.

Sprints’ LTE service will kick off in few weeks with Samsung GALAXY Nexus as its first LTE darling, we have also seen the HTC EVO One which is said to be another LTE enabled device. Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Atlanta would be the first cities to receive the service. Including the two aforementioned devices, Sprint is expected to launch 15 LTE phones by the end of the year and most of them should be running on Android, but we can expect an LTE enabled Apple iPhone model as well.
