Jan 19 Samsung unveils Star 3 and Star 3 Duo

Let’s welcome two new additions to the Samsung feature phone family- the Samsung Star 3 and Star 3 DUOS. The superstar devices will take feature phones a step up by making them smarter, with the inclusion of Social networking and ChatON, at a price that won’t burst your pocket.

Both phone features almost same specs except the dual-SIM functionality of Star 3 DUOS. There is a 3-inch capacitive QVGA display, 3.2-megapixel camera capable of recording QVGA videos, the TouchWiz Lite user interface and onboard memory of 20MB expandable up to 16 GB more through microSD card slot. If we consider its connectivity, it boasts EDGE speeds, Wi-Fi b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0. Just remove its convertible clamshell and you will find a 1,000mAh battery resting inside. The 95g Samsung Star 3 device appears a little wider and thinner from its dual- SIM bro and is not revamped aesthetically.

Both Samsung Star 3 and Star 3 DUOS are expected to land in Russia till the end of this month and will reach CIS, Europe, Latin America, Africa, Middle East and Southeast Asia later. The Star 3 Duo will also make a debut in Southwest Asia.
