Kinetic

The Nokia World event was adorned with lots of bounties and perks for us. The Finnish company is working on a pleasing surprise for its customers as well.  It revealed a prototype gadget in the event called the “kinetic device” which is enabled with a flexible display.

This will surely be one of the coolest additions to gadget arsenal and people are much excited about the device. The prototype unleashed in the event was capable of bending and twisting. Instead of the old technique of pinch-to-zoom adopted by the smartphone industry, it offers a unique way to do the same. Bending the display in one way allows you to scroll and zoom in a photo. Apart from that the phone has got other advantages too. It is designed water resistant and much stronger and tougher.

Apart from that this flexibility offered by the device allows its usage without looking at it. This means if the device is in your pocket you don’t have to put it out for changing the song, you can perform the same task simply by twisting it in your pocket. This quality has made the device ideal for blind people, where vision is not required due to the bending properties of smartphone.

The Finnish company didn’t give any clue about the actual availability of the device. Till then watch out this video and cross your fingers wishing for the device to be release soon.
