Nokia planning a new Lumia and Windows 8 tablets

Well readers, just brace up yourself to get ready for another boom in the tablet market. You must be thinking who will burst the bubble this time?

We are very excited to inform you that it’s the Finnish giant, Nokia. Yes, Nokia is planning to have its share not only in the smartphone markets but also in the tablet world.

This was revealed by Paul Amsellem, new head of Nokia France in an interview with the newspaper, Les Echos. The Nokia representative stated that “In June 2012, we will have a tablet running Windows 8.” He explained the future releases of Nokia and compared the Lumia 800 to a BMW 5 series, the boss said “it’s a bit the equivalent of the BMW 5 Series. We will soon have a full range with a Series 7 and Series 3.” Not much was explained by him, but some hints points that the company is planning to expand Lumia line.

The executive focuses on the decline of revenue faced by the Nokia in recent years but said the company has strong hopes with Lumia 800 to boost the economic conditions of the company.The revenue of the company has turn down to 16% which was 25% two years ago. But the head has high expects that the market share will soon mount to 22%.

The company is focusing primarily to 60% of the French population, who don’t have smartphones. The envoy wishes to craft an ecosystem of applications and mobile services with the assistance of Microsoft that offers a tough competition to Google used Android OS.
