LG demos 5-inch 1080p display prototype
Manufacturers are hard at work to develop, advanced and better displays day by day, you have heard about Samsung’s plan to announce some of its groundbreaking technologies at the Society for Information Display (SID) Display Week 2012 in Boston, now LG has also shown a prototype at the Display Week. The prototype was claimed to be the “The World’s First Mobile FHD.”
This LG display is an important one as it features 5-inch screen with a full 1920 x 1080 resolution and AH-IPS (advanced high-performance in-plan switching) technology for extreme viewing angles. The display will stands out from others in the markets as it is packed with 440 pixels per inch.
The 5 inch display was found flaunting in glass and playing some pre-recorded videos. Unfortunately, it was still a prototype but it has stunned many viewers with its high resolution in such a small size.
