First Tango Based Custom ROMs arrives for HD2 & Omnia 7
As you are already aware, Windows phone 7.5 Refresh, the Tango is all set to hit China next week but seven days…. of course it won’t be easy for smartphone owners to wait until the official release of the refresh, so the XDA developers have already peppered a pair of Tango ROMs, which can be applied on HTC HD2 and the Samsung Omnia 7.

Both custom ROMs are based on Tango RTM build 8773.98 and are fully functional. The first device to get this sweet fantasy is the HTC HD2, as the new ROM is based upon the prior custom ROMs so you can brace yourself for all the bounties of a fully-unlocked operating system with the icing of new Tango changes.
But before you rush for it, note that there are some hurdles that come in your way. For instance Microsoft has blocked the access to the Marketplace until official release of Tango and the ROM is also haunted by bugs; one of which includes some messed-up language support or an inconvenience in updating the software. But still if you can’t hold your horses, get it and explore. And don’t forget to thank HD2Owner who developed HD2 custom ROM and ceesheim who brought the Samsung Omnia 7 custom ROM for us.
