RIM denies all allegations for BlackBerry10 delay

Written by Tanzeel Hassan. Posted in BlackBerry

The Research In Motion has reacted furiously and denied all the charges that was put by a tech blog, Boy Genius Report (BGR). The blog reported that RIM has delayed the launch of its next generation operating system not because of the processors but due to the software issues which has hindered the company to incorporate E-mail, calendar and messenger features into the new OS.

BGR also quoted a blazing as well as astonishing statement by “high-level RIM employee” that “RIM is betting the company on a platform that won’t be as good as iOS 1.0.”

BlackBerry 10 delay

The Canadian Company has declined all these rumors as “inaccurate and uninformed” and informed that RIM has postponed the launch of its brand new OS due to the power-efficient LTE chipset and not because of software problems. The company stated that “RIM made a strategic decision to launch BlackBerry 10 devices with a new, LTE-based dual core chip set architecture. As explained on our earnings call, the broad engineering impact of this decision and certain other factors significantly influenced the anticipated timing for the BlackBerry 10 devices. As RIM has previously explained, and as Mike Lazaridis reiterated on the earnings call, we will not launch BlackBerry 10 devices until we know they are ready and we believe this new chip set architecture is required to deliver the world class user experience that our customers will expect. Any suggestion to the contrary is simply false.”

These scandals which has trapped OS before its launch can caste a dark shadow on its bright future. Hopefully it won’t let the RIM’s already sinking ship drowned.
