Feb 29 RIM and Pacemaker announce DJ app for PlayBook

If you are music freak hope you know about the Pacemaker, which was eventually ceased some time ago. For those who are unfamiliar, Pacemaker is invented by Jonas Norberg and it’s a Pocket Size DJ System that is used by top DJs of the world. If you’re a fan of Pacemaker and was sad from its discontinuation, then it’s time to party– the DJ tool is back as a BlackBerry PlayBook app.

This comeback is a result of an great collaboration with RIM, the information came forward from RIM’s event at MWC but the details are still scarce at the moment.

What’s apparent at this point is that, the DJ app will carry the goodness of auto beatmatching, vinyl mode with scratching, digital mode, looping, loop travel, pitch control, beat skip and “pro level” effects. We have received no words on its pricing but it is expected to surface as the Spring blossoms.
