The EA recently announced two titles– FIFA ’12 and NBA Jam for its Android fans!! Appeared in the arcade back in 1993, the NBA Jam is a two-on-two game of Basket ball which has swept the board of success and has reached Google Play Store now with its same magic. The game certainly took its sweet time to get here. So let’s set the royal crown of App of the Day on NBA Jam’s head.

The NBA Jam features 30 NBA teams and your favorite NBA stars. All you have to do is to choose your favorite mode from the three; Play now, Classic Campaign and Local multiplayer. Pick up a team and jump into the ballgame, your aim is won the championship for your team by defeating every other team. iOS users can select their control from two different control schemes– D-Pad and gesture-based. You can also unlock the legendary stars from the classic arcade era like Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Dr. J, Scott Skiles, Karl Malone, Detlef Schrempf, and Danny Manning, or if  you want, you can get them via in-app purchase. The classic NBA Jam will let you play basketball in a different style with high flying dunks, mega blocks, all kinds of trick dribbling, huge alley-oops, and even the ability to chuck players.

You can also play NBA Jam with others over WiFi and Bluetooth. The games move at very high speed but it is presented very well—the visuals and  sound track are just awesome, kudos to EA. The emotions of the players which keep on varying with the game situation and the big head mode is simply fantastic. NBA Jam is worth checking out, so try it and let us know your opinion.
