Sparrow iPhone & iPod Touch email client hits App Store
For those who want their email app to work exactly like the Facebook/Twitter apps, pick up your ears, the Sparrow for iPhone client is on its way to iTunes Store. The email client will be priced at around $2.99 when it lands stateside.

If you were of the loop, Sparrow is an iPhone/iPod Touch email client which provides an efficient and pleasant mailing experience. It comes with pane navigation and other new features to lure you. The Sparrow has got a great and intuitive interface and it is laden with new interface elements like sliding panels. Sparrows also shows the avatars of people you’re emailing the most. Its smart contacts feature will bring your most frequently used contacts on top of the list but the main surprise lies in its drawbacks as the app neither support POP accounts nor Push Notifications.
So folks, you have to be fine with iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, and other IMAP services while the push notification in Sparrow app was terminated just weeks before its launch.
