Jan 12 Pod2g: Untethered iOS 5.0.1 Jailbreak is matter of days

If you have just entered the jailbreak world, you have heard about famous developers MuscleNerd, Pod2G, Saurik etc. Now add one more name, “PlanetBeing” to this list. No no, Plantbeing is not a new name, he is a well known hacker who has the credit of releasing first iPhone 4 unlock in August 2010 but the developer has kept a distance with jailbreak community for more than a year. The dream team formed by pod2g, to release his untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S and iPad 2 brings him in spotlight once again.

PlanetBeing after keeping the silence for over 503 days, broke the ice and tweeted good news of their progress on A5 untethered jailbreak. The jailbreak dream team has broken the sandbox successfully that had restricted pod2G from releasing the untethered iOS 5.0.1 jailbreak publicly.

Well the A5 untethered jailbreak which should have surfaced last week can release in few days. Pod2G mentioned in his blog post that even developers have got tired from its delay, hopefully the day arrive soon.
