For the past few months, the whole world has gone wild in anticipation for the next iPad! The day has finally arrived; Apple has showcased its all new iPad. So if you were hoping it to boast 9.7-inch (bundled with 3.1 million pixels) Retina Display with a resolution of 2,048-by-1,536-pixel, a voice assistant and LTE 4G you were absolutely right.

Here is a quick breakdown at its key specs.

Phil Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing claimed the new iPad to offer more pixels than a 1080p television, its voice diction enables users to input text by speaking rather than typing.

The 4G connectivity will keep the users connected to long-term evolution networks from the high-class carriers like AT&T and Verizon. The new iPad exhibits download speeds of up to 73Mbps over LTE. The LTE-capable iPad model will be available in two different versions, one for AT&T and other for Verizon. Both the iPads will roam worldwide in 3G.

The new iPad Wi-Fi models will land in markets on March 16 in Black and white flavors; 16GB model with a price tag of $499, 32GB model for $599 and 64GB model for $699.

iPad Wi-Fi + 4G for AT&T or Verizon will be priced at $629 for 16GB model, $729 for 32GB model and $829 for 64GB model. All prices are listed according to US dollars.

Apple will begin the sales of iPad across stateside through its retail stores, and select Apple Authorized Resellers. Other countries to get the honors are Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Switzerland, UK and the US Virgin Islands.
