iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak to release in couple of weeks
The arrival of iOS 5.1.1 created several troubles for the jailbreakers, but thanks to Dev Team who released RedSn0w 0.9.11b1 which help the A5 device owners to downgrade to iOS 5.0.1. But that was just a little sweet, iOS fans have huge expectations with developers in terms of untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1.1.

The jailbreak community is hard at work to meet the expectations as always, developer Pod2g has revealed good news for all the eager fans waiting out there. The maestro wrote that untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1.x will be released in few weeks. And what’s interesting about the upcoming jailbreak is that will be “compatible with any device running iOS 5.1.1.”
You may have seen the video posted by i0n1c showing the untethered jailbreak on new iPad (which was removed later). Developers are testing the hack on some more devices which will take time. Since Pod2g has assured that untethered jailbreak is coming in a couple of months, so be patient. Don’t forget good things come to those who wait.
