There is a slew of jailbreak tweaks developed for Notification Center, specifically to create music shortcuts from iPod app. One such tweak designed to Jack Willis aka JW97 to create now playing bar for Notification Center is “Now Playing for Notification Center”.

Now Playing for Notification Center version 1.0.1 is a new jailbreak tweak that shows song details and album art and adds a widget to Notification Center enabling you to pause/play your tracks. It allows you to control songs from notification center just with an easy swipe. Besides playing and pausing your songs, you can share them with your friends on Twitter or Facebook. Don’t fret if your Facebook share button is not working now because it will start functioning with the final release of iOS 6. The new widget on your notification center is also compatible with third party Music apps.
