Viota M970: Budget Friendly Android ICS tablet
Hey fans, the Android tablet arena is shored up by yet another tablet which is displayed by Viota, a less known company at CeBIT. Viota revealed its M970 tablet to retail buyers and journalists at the world’s largest ongoing trade fair showcasing digital IT and telecommunications solutions in Germany.

The Viota M970 sports a 9.7-inch LCD display with 786 x 1024 resolution, a uni-core 1.5GHz Cortex A8 processor along with 512MB RAM and 4GB of storage. Under the hood of the tablet there is a 6000mAh battery, five-megapixel rear camera and two-megapixel front-facing shooter.
The tablet runs on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and boasts a Mali 400 graphics chip (found in Samsung’s Galaxy S II). The only downside of the tablet is its aging Cortex A8 processor. Carrying all these features the tablet comes with a price tag of $120, and is quite a good tablet as compared to its similarly priced friends.
The production models will have up to 1GB of RAM, a microSD slot, and optional 3G connectivity as confide by the company. The company hasn’t started its journey stateside but it is expected to bring a refreshed version of the tablet for US customers.
