Jan 02 Sony Tablet S available at $400 for 16GB

Sony has announced a New Year’s gift for by dropping the price of its Tablet S by $100, so according to the new price list you can grab the 16GB model of Tablet S for just $400 and the 32GB model for $500. The company is also offering (for a limited timeframe) five free PlayStation Classic game downloads, 180 days of its basic Music Unlimited service, five free rentals from the company’s Video Unlimited service and a store credit with this tablet.

Sony has reiterated its strategy of $50 price cut which it announced in the mid of December for Christmas season. Well this price cut has pushed the Tablet S out of the High range tablets like Transformer Prime and iPad 2 but Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, Toshiba Thrive and other mid-range tablets won’t let it survive easily in their realms,  despite of its lower price, the tablet will still face a tough competition.
