Rdio launches redesigned Android app with Android 4.0
Rdio app for Android which was hobbled with some lacking features has got a complete makeover. For those who are unaware, Rdio is one of the blazingly popular moniker for music streaming services over U.S. besides Spotify and Pandora. Well the makeover includes shades of playlists, new releases, top charts, and recommendations. A brand new home screen design is also injected to “streamlined top-level navigation” as quoted by Rdio.
The Rdio app now supports Ice Cream Sandwich so you can manage music playback via remote control from the lock screen, moreover it brings enhanced search and user profiles- so that you can know what other Rdio users are listening to. The service is currently available for US, Canada, Brazil, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand and is free to download excluding the monthly fee of $9.99.
