NVIDIA to launch 30 Tegra 3 devices in 2012
NVIDIA is going great guns with its popular Tegra 3 chip, if you have a love affair with the processors, then you will be glad to know that you nearly 30 devices powered by Tegra 3 will be making a debut this year. The information was revealed by General Manager Mike Rayfield at annual investor meeting. If you remember, early 15 devices based on Tegra 2 chip was launched in 2011.

NVIDIA has plans to introduce LTE modems in the chipsets; the company has announced that Icera 410, its first LTE modem has certified for AT&T’s LTE network and it will see the light of the day in late 2012. The GM also goes on to say Icera 50 will be the next iteration of Tegra series to become ‘Grey’ and it would eventually overtake the Icera 410 as it boast “next-gen LTE speeds.” Grey is expected to arrive next year.
