LG announced Optimus LTE Tag for Korea
Why can’t LG hold its horses for the Mobile World Congress? The trade show is just around the corner and LG has let off another phone from its repository; hot on heels comes the new boy LG Optimus LTE Tag just hours after the showcase of Big LG Optimus Vu. The phone is NFC enabled darling and a 4.3 inches variant of the Optimus LTE.

Here is the need to know specs of the device. The Optimus LTE Tag sport
- 4.3-inch bright, 650-nit WVGA display
- 1.2GHz dual-core processor
- 5-megapixel rear camera
- front-facing camera
- 1700mAh battery
- 16GB of built-in memory
LG has introduced a special feature which uses special tags that can change the settings of your phone according to a particular location. These tags offer you loads of options to perform, so you can swipe a tag as you enter you classroom to turn your device on silent mode and activate Wi-Fi, turn on Bluetooth, GPS and raise the volume while driving. Well this is not the first time that we have seen this feature, Sony has already used it in Sony SmartTags.
The Korea bound smartphone will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread but is expected to upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich in near future. Will it trip to other countries or not? Hopefully we will be able to know the ropes at MWC 2012.
