HTC Sensation XL is getting Ice Cream Sandwich
Its party time for HTC Sensation XL owners as the ICS button is switched on for their devices. So owners living in Europe and Asia who have not received the ICS update over the air should go to Settings > About phone > Software updates and hit that button.
The update will boost the Android version to Android 4.0.3 while HTC Sense 3.6 remains same. The update throws Face Unlock feature, the new app dock and the multi-tasking menu in your way. The update is 200MB, quite large in size so you need a great Wi-Fi connection before you go for it.
Those with HTC Rezound, HTC EVO 3D or HTC Wildfire S in their hands have to wait till July while HTC ThunderBolt and HTC DROID Incredible 2 are expected to be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in late August.
