HCL intros trio of Android 4.0 tablets for students
India’s famous IT and Technology Company, HCL is all set to enter the tablet market with its low cost units. The company is destined to battle in the arena with its three new ICS guns, the HCL ME U1 and two variants of HCL MyEdu Tab.

The HCL ME U1 is a 7 incher slate which sports capacitive touchcreeen of 800×480 resolutions, 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM DDR3, 4GB internal memory expandable through microSD card, 0.3 megapixel front facing snapper and Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich) out of the box. The ICS tablet is extremely affordable and can be grabbed for just Rs 7999.
The MyEduTab is offered in two flavors- MyEduTab–K12 and MyEduTab-Higher Education(HE). Both tablets have nearly the same specifications as the ME U1. The K12 version can be snagged for 11,499 while the Higher Education(HE) variant comes at Rs 9,999. Not to forget that the tablets are designed for students across the country.
