Sep 29 Galaxy Tab 8.9 having an Unofficial AOKP Android Jelly Bean

Journey of Android Jelly Bean since started having issues , problems and developers were striving to make an stable ROM from which they remove the issues and have full features, this is the reason previous builds like pre-alphas and preview builds are still in process of rectifying issues, this time a good news for Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 users they can also enjoy an AOKP build.

This is all due to the efforts of XDA Senior Member dan-htc-touch, he not only compiled the ROM but posted the steps for all to get facilitated. Still this is not 100% but an stable build you may enjoy many features including given below posted by dan-htc-touch.

 

aokp for the sgh i957,

overclockable to 1836 mhz thanks to kernel source from DAGr8

choose mtp or camera connection once connected

paid apps work

ROM control — vibration menu item FC ROM control

usb devices don’t have an un-mount option in task tray

possible connect to computer issue. Adb works fine connects to my linux box fine( have not tried windows)

nfc no work
