Galaxy Nexus reporting signal issue after Android 4.0.4
Bugs after an update is nothing new, but it can be very troublesome indeed! The fresh blow of news tells us about Galaxy Nexus users who are worried after updating their devices to Android 4.0.4. According to distressed users, they have observed connectivity issues when the device is in sleep/screen off mode.

Users have reported that their Galaxy Nexus’ cellular signal is lost when the phone goes into standby mode without enough CPU activity going on in the background. This is obviously very upsetting as it disables them to receive calls until the phone wakes up again. The issue has been highlighted on Google’s Android issue tracker; we expect Google to take prompt actions and come up with an official fix pretty soon.
