First look of Eee Pad Transformer Prime

The iPad 2 will be getting another contender as the Eee Pad Transformer Prime by Asus is determined to give it a tough face off in the tablet markets where Samsung Galaxy Tab is unavailable. The information is received from the first look from the window of Ritchie’s Room. The tablet is lighter in weight and slimmer in size than the iPad 2. It weighs only 586g and measures 8.3mm in thickness which makes it easy to handle. The tablet was rumored to be enable with the Ice Cream Sandwich, unfortunately it doesn’t happens. The slate runs on Honeycomb platform but if you are anticipating for the ICS, then don’t lose hope because an update is expected to arrive soon, may be as an advance gift for Christmas.
The tablet is available for pre-orders and will go on sale in US and Canada from for $499 (32GB) and $599 (64GB). The mobile dock accessory is optional and costs $140. You can grab your tablet from Amazon, B&H, Best Buy, Gamestop and TigerDirect nad it can be retailed from Future Shop and NCIX in Canada.
Prime with keyboard will be released in Australia with $100 more than the equivalent-capacity iPad 2 and will emerge with 32GB and 64GB versions. Along with Samsung 7.7, Xoom 2 and other unannounced devices from manufacturers, this slate stands in line of the next generation Android tablets.
