DROID X2 Update is Ready as Build 1.3.418
The Droid X2 was said to be getting an update few days back, which carries nothing but some minor bug fixes. Unfortunately the ill fate of Droid X2 will not allow it to receive any Ice Cream Sandwich update but yet Motorola and Verizon have managed to develop a 35MB update for the device which brings the new build number, 1.3.418 after updating.

So if you have rooted your device, it will be a bummer for you- a new security patch has been found in the changelog which has been posted now. So your root will be broken although but you can have new Verizon Video and VZ Navigator 3D apps baked in plus some other mostly meaningless add-ons too.
So Droid X2 owners, are you excited about it? Tap here for more info.
