Prior to the update, i was experiencing loss of “Camera Shots” when I started the Gallery app. Not every time, but too frequently starting that app, I would see the expected, Camera Shot, Downloads, and all photos. then in a flash Camera Shots would disappear and the number in All Photos would decrease appropriately. I could not recover them. BUT after this upgrade the old Gallery app, present all 185 of the lost photos. NOTE: the newly appearing Android Gallery would not start for me. So after 30 seconds of running the update, it looks better to me.

I thought my Inspire was a brick only a couple of months / weeks ago. What I thought to be a hardware “button” issue (non-stop reboots and sticking in the system reset screen), looks like it was actually a software problem. I contacted ATT, and they were extraordinarily helpful – sending tech specs and factory reset advice outside and after the call had ended. After the software update? Smooth Sailing (good times!)
